Frequently asked questions

Clarity at every step

Straightforward answers about our planned services, what is still in development and how to make a general inquiry.

Before you inquire

What you should know

All three divisions are in development. We share the limits of what is known today so you can make an informed inquiry.

Request Information
01Are your services available now?

U-Care & Associates is developing its services and is not currently accepting service bookings. This website accepts general inquiries only. An inquiry does not reserve transportation, delivery or companion support.

02What areas do you plan to serve?

Our focus is Rhode Island and Southern New England. International travel companion support would depend on the trip and applicable rules.

03Are you licensed and insured?

Licensing and insurance are not yet confirmed. We will only describe these once they are in place.

04Is this an emergency service?

No. None of our planned services are for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.

05Will vehicles be wheelchair accessible?

Accessibility depends on actual vehicles and equipment, which are not yet confirmed. Ask us about your needs and we'll be clear about what we can and can't offer.

06Do you accept insurance or Medicaid for rides?

Payer participation and authorization are not confirmed at this time.

07What does the travel nurse companion do?

The proposed scope is practical travel preparation, airport coordination and non-clinical companionship. This website does not offer nursing assessment, medication administration, medical monitoring, medical clearance or medical evacuation. Any future clinical support would require separate scope-of-practice and jurisdiction review.

08What should I include in an inquiry?

Just general information: your name, email, the service you're interested in and a short description. Please do not share medical details, diagnoses, patient names or other health information.
